Dr. Brooke Fantin, DPT, RYT, WHC, SSRP

A woman with long, curly dark hair sitting on a gray sofa, smiling, wearing a white t-shirt and ripped jeans, with a beige throw blanket and a brown pillow.

Dr. Brooke Fantin is a clinical doctor of physical therapy, specialized in women’s pelvic health with over a decade of studies in integrative wellness and functional health. She is passionate about encouraging and elevating the women she works with to take ownership over their health and who they want to be.

“I work with motivated women who are ready to transform from the inside out and find freedom in their bodies, businesses and lives.”

Brooke takes a bottom-up approach, using the physical body as the starting point and gateway into the internal landscape that is piecing together your total health picture.

As your “clinical best friend” she’ll help you explore the interconnectedness between your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health so you can bring balance back into your body and life.

Suited to do so, Brooke has completed education to be credentialed as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, Registered Yoga Teacher, Somatic Stress Release Practitioner with Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapies, Integrative Women’s Health Coach and Pre & Postnatal Coach - all of which she uses to inform her coaching practice.

Brooke’s clinical passion lies in the complexities of chronic pain and women’s pelvic pain. With this population she is able to blend all of her gifts and studies to dive deeper into the layers of the body’s experienced pain that’s holding them back. Outside of this, she is fulfilled by supporting women through any season or transition of womanhood.

In addition to her practice, Brooke has taught in Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training programs, hosts educational workshops, offers her therapeutic touch in yoga classes to the community and poses as a mentor for her colleagues from time to time.

Brooke describes herself as an athletic yogi and loves to explore different movement and therapeutic modalities. She thrives in connecting with community or an outdoor adventure, and is always up for learning something new. Her latest inspirations are pottery and training for half ironmans!

rooted in mind-body medicine, brooke’s approach goes beyond the physical

  • Bridge Mind-Body

Refining the mind-body connection lets awareness become a superpower to reclaim control over your thoughts, emotions and behaviors so stress and pain stop ruling your life.

  • Mindful Movement

Intentional connection to the body offers the opportunity for exploration of all layers of yourself. This is where positive movement via Brooke’s signature M3 framework can begin to transform you from the inside out.

  • Cultivate Self-Efficacy

When life experiences let us lose ourselves, we are met with the adventure of rediscovering and rebuilding an unshakeable core of worth, belief, ownership and agency. Trusting in your self, your body and your path is freedom.

  • Grow Your Capacity

Restoration is a missing part of health care. We need time, space and support to let our bodies digest physical and emotional experiences and recoup our resilience reserve. Return to the radiant and energized you that you know you are.

what is somatics?

somatics is the field of study that explores the relationship between the body, mind, and emotions; and how these influence our overall well-being.

it is often that we can walk through life ignoring or neglecting ourselves and our bodies, and all the intelligence that it tries to communicate with us. over time, that communication may become louder and present as burnout, exhaustion, physical pains, conditions or illnesses - “forcing” you to listen.

when we have unresolved stress, emotional wounds, traumas, and/or don’t know how to tend to our emotional health, the body will start to get “backed up” and breakdown can occur.

after all, “the body keeps the score*.”

in this work together we take a fun and gentle approach to exploring and excavating what may be holding you back from living your most energized and free life.

*Bessel van der Kolk, M.D., is one of the world’s leading experts on trauma, with over four decades of research and clinical practice focused on how traumatic stress reshapes both mind and body. In his groundbreaking book The Body Keeps the Score, he draws from neuroscience, attachment research, and innovative therapies to explain how trauma imprints itself on the nervous system and physical body—not just the mind. Van der Kolk founded the Trauma Center in Massachusetts, has served as a professor of psychiatry at Boston University, and has published extensively in leading medical journals. His work is widely regarded as transformative for shifting the understanding of trauma from a purely psychological issue to a whole-body experience, fundamentally changing how trauma is treated worldwide.
